Good Morning! Our assignment for last week for the Beauty Detox bloggers was to re-create our very own summery dip. I am so excited to post this because it was so easy to make and it turned to be so good! it’s something that you can throw in the blender before you leave for the beach or any other Fourth of July party you’re attending. Just pair it was some fruits, veggies and crackers. I love the Beauty Detox blog assignments because it gives us a chance to be creative and challenges us to come up with new fun recipes every week! I decided to take some great fruits that are in season right now and turn them into a dip! I used basil, mango, strawberries, onion, bell peppers and lime juice for this assignment with a little sprinkle or 2 of cayenne pepper to spice it up.

Ingredients

1 medium sized mango

3-4 strawberries

1 cup of bell peppers- any color will work but yellow and orange are the sweeter ones

1/4 cup of onion

Juice from 1 lime

Directions

Sprinkle with cayenne pepper to taste (I forgot it was cayenne pepper for a second and went a little nuts) and blend all the ingredients.

P.s.. You can also throw in a banana or half of one if you want to make it a little creamier 🙂
